This project that aims to highlight the cultural significance of the communal space cultivated by television. Behind Closed Doors was derived by the idea that behind every closed door at home, is the living room.
Problem
Millennials are no longer using/utilising the communal space at home.
Insight
They associate living room with television and since they no longer watch traditional TV, they do not see the value of the living room space.
Objective
Allow millennials to recognise the living room space as a place where interactions occur and experiences are created and shared.

The concept of this series of publication was
inspired by the dimensions of a common HDB gate
and door. The binding simulates the experience of
opening and entering into a home. Contents within
each publication were arranged based on the unique
characteristics of each living room.
